Wine About It

Loudoun County boasts over 40 wineries that all make and serve Virginia wine. My favorite is Fabbioli Cellars. The winemaker has a background in French and California wines. The $15 tasting includes a delicious wine lineup and small bites to complement each sip. Also, there is a great family farm just around the corner.

Leesburg is known for farm-to-table restaurants and unique foodie stops. The historic district has quite a few great options. Lightfoot and Shoes Cup & Cork offer mouth-watering menu selections at both indoor and outdoor dining tables. Shoes’ secret garden is a beautiful place to take the whole family for lawn games and yummy bites. Head out to the town of Lucketts for a casual meal at Roots 657.

Farm Fun

Loudoun County has so many farms; the town celebrates with a Spring Farm Tour. My kiddos love to visit the local equine rescue down the road from our house. And, we all love Temple Hall Farm, a working farm with educational elements. You can’t help but raise horse-lovers growing up in this area.

We call Lucketts, VA home, and so does the Old Lucketts Store, a hip antique shop with stunning wares. The garden area has excellent options too. The succulent workshop is a must-do for the whole family. Tell Anne; I sent you! Also, the Leesburg Premium Outlets are a great place to find bargains for everyone in your crew.
