The Loudoun County Fair is a great way to spend the day with your tiny carousel riders. We visited mid-week around 10 a.m. and came back at 5 p.m. (after naptime). Morning at the fair is filled with baby animals, face painting and yummy carnival food. Fair evenings boast kiddie-sized rides, live music, and even more delicious carnival eats.
The fair is all about animals. We hung out with cows, chickens, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, parakeets, and the sweetest camel.
Asher and Evie fell in love with the parakeets in the encounter exhibit.
Grammy had a great morning teaching them all about the animals they got to meet and pet.
Their tiny cheeks still have unicorns, dragons and dolphins painted across them.
After naptime, we came back to the fair to enjoy the carnival complete with toddler-sized rides, too many sweets to count and a few more animals.
