Holland of Virginia at Burnside Farms in Nokesville, VA

I have always dreamed of seeing the tulip fields in Holland, but I haven’t yet had the pleasure.  A while ago, I was scrolling through my Instagram feed, and I saw yet another ethereal photo that captured the stunning beauty of one of these iconic tulip fields.  To my surprise, it wasn’t a field in Holland.  The photo was taken at Burnside Farms in Nokesville, VA.  Of course, we loaded up the car and headed out to see this local farm that planted 1.2 million tulips.

Burnside Farms did not disappoint.  It is breathtaking.

I fell in love with the gorgeous Spring colors sweeping across the open fields.  And, you can take them home with you for $1 per stem.

The fields are stroller-friendly, but the owners ask that you not take them down the rows of flowers.

Just beyond the fields, there is a huge bounce pillow, bounce houses, touch-a-tractor, playhouses, food trucks, and picnic tables.

The season is very short, so be sure to like Burnside Farms on Facebook.  They provide daily updates about the fields.  Oh, and they have a beautiful sea of daffodils too.
