One-of-a-Kind Experience at the Christmas Village in Baltimore

I’ve always dreamed of visiting a Christmas Village in Germany. In fact, it is still on my bucket list. Until then, we have to stick a little closer to home. The authentic Christmas Village in Baltimore, MD gave us a little taste of an overseas holiday, and there was something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

The new centerpiece of the village is the gorgeous pyramid, built in Germany and sailed over for the market. Inside the tent, you can grab a miniature version for your mantle.

We all had to try a hot drink to warm up on the super chilly winter day. Most of my crew had hot chocolate, but I couldn’t pass up the apple mulled wine. The market boasts an impressive mulled wine selection and the cutest boot-shaped mugs.

We visited the market with three generations, and we all had a great time. The kids loved the lights, food (especially the fudge sample), decorations and all the fun down by the water. The adults had fun learning about the German-inspired delicacies, designs and dazzling murals.

Our fingers started to freeze as the sun went down, so we stopped by the Baltimore Visitors Center to warm up. We were surprised to find the cutest play area for our little ones. We all got to rest for a bit while they played together.

After our break, we strolled along the Baltimore Inner Harbor to visit the city’s Christmas tree and ice skating rink. It is a picturesque spot.

Last but not least, don’t forget to stop by the wings mural for the perfect Instagram-worthy moment.
