Last week, we made our annual visit to a local pumpkin patch. I wanted to find a local farm with no (or a small) admission fee because, well, my kids are all under 2 years old, and you just never know how long an outing is going to last.
Wegmeyer Farms is free, and you can either pick a pumpkin from the patch or from the little shop. There is a small one lane road to get in and out of the farm, so be careful when you are driving around the corner. We didn’t have any issues finding a parking spot.
The farm offers old fashioned lemonade and apple cider donuts for purchase. Other than that, it is a pretty simple pick-your-own pumpkin patch.

It is a great option to shop local, enjoy the beautiful view, and take home some great carving pumpkins.
