My little ones love water, but it is always hard to find a water park with a toddler-friendly area. Pirate’s Cove Waterpark is a great way to spend the day with your Littles. The gated wading pool is 1 foot deep and it has a great little slide with a padded floor cover at the bottom. There is a large umbrella over some of the pool, splash area on one side, and chairs all around for mom and dad. The park provides life jackets too.
For the big kids, the large pool, water play structure, and water slide are a great option. I’d bring an extra pair of hands if more than one of your gang needs supervision.
Just passed the entrance, there is a nice big changing room area with a changing table to wrestle on those swim diapers, and lockers if you’d like to store some of the gear. My little man took a spill on the wet floor, just a heads up.
You are welcome to bring in your own food, but there is a concession stand available too. We take these bento boxes everywhere. I love how salad is pictured as a “fun food”, if only my toddlers got that memo.
Next to the wading pool, the big sand box was a big hit. My little ones preferred this area to the water for quite a while. This area is well shaded, and there are chairs right on the sand.
